Japan's Trip #5 { Japan's Hauls ! (Things you should buy ) }

only a few of them left NOW

So, this will be the very last post of my Japan's Trip #2014 ! Honestly, I feel like Osaka and Nara don't really have many things to buy, even the kitkats there only have Green Tea's and normal chocolate's, I thought they'll be others more flavours though. :/ AND also the vending machines ! not much choices here mostly drinks and snacks I want to cry ! Were exciting that they'll be more other choices like what I saw on internet. Osaka you cheated my feelings lol wtf hahaha. All these things inspired me to go Tokyo someday, I definitely will ! (new checklist marked)

Alright, so this post is all about (what I bought ) and what you should buy when you're visiting Osaka, Japan!

All those unpacked stuffs

chopsticks and keychains at deer park
Since I've no ideas what to buy for my grandparents so I choose to buy the chopsticks. The chopsticks have it own meaning ! I bought two which means mother and two with father (There have grandmother's and grandfather's too !). The keychains are cute and pretty and it have some blessing inside so I bought it to give my younger cousins. All items are just 100yen for one!

cosmetics
Japan is famous for their cosmetics brands like Hada Labo, Shiseido, masks and etc. I didn't really have time to shop for it so I only bought a few.

(from left to the right)
LumiLumi - this is a local Japan's cosmetics brands and it's very famous in Japan. This is a promotion pack which costs RM40+ for one packet. It consists of 5 packets inside the box and there's 7 sheets of masks in one packet. So, there's total 35 pieces of masks for only RM40+, one piece RM1 something only so cheap!
I bought this at Little Osaka, universal city walk (outside Universal's Studios Japan)

Hada Labo - This is a very well-known Japanese brands in the world and it's expensive in Malaysia. The bottom one (blue colour's bottle) is actually some kind of moisturizer and it's just RM20+ , almost the half price in Malaysia ! I also bought this at Universal City Walk but I forgot the shop's name. Next, the upper one (yellow box), is the newest product of Hada Labo. It's so damn convenient because you only need to apply one bottle of that to end your skincare routine. It contains Toner, Moisturizer, Sleeping Mask, Essence and Emulsion, yeah, it's all in a bottle (5 in 1) so you doesn't need to apple so many things on your skin! I bought it at Family Mart, since it's a convenience store so it's a little bit pricey which is also RM20+

My Beauty's Diary - It's not a Japanese's brand but a Taiwanese's brand ! Just bought it for fun lol still got money left. I bought it at Family Mart as well !

 Mochi(s)
This is a very last minute buys in Japan lol. I bought these at the airport's duty free's shop right after I checked in all my baggage and waiting to on board. I bought two flavours, one flavour comes with three boxes, all total is 6 boxes. I think it's around RM33 for these. One is Matcha Mochi and another one is limited season Sakura Mochi. I didn't really eat it because I'm not a mochi fan so I gave it all to my tuitionmate to share it out.

 Butter Beer's mug
Luckily it's not broken! I purposely cover in up in my clothes. So nice and pretty ! I bought this at Universal Studios Japan , it's only few ringgits if I didn't count on the drink !

Tea sachets
both were bought in the airport as well and it's given to my grandparents too! They told me that these taste really good heh.

Certificate card for the host family's program

Photo of us with our host
This is from the director of the whole host family'spogram and I didn't look at the camera my god.

Biscuits and little pouch bag
This is from my host family ! They actually sell this at their restaurant and they gave it to us.

files and cute stickers
This counted as a appreciation gift from the tv crew ! They thanked us for helping them to shoot the program well. They were shocked when we could tell them the character on the file is Domo! They thought we didn't know about it.

 souvenirs from Takatori High School
The students there wrote the little small cards to us !

 custom-made mechanical pencil
This is so nice my god ! I'm really a fan of Pilot's stationary ! Since my primary school I've been using Pilot's mechanical pencils till now, I'm still using their mechanical pencils and pens ! It's a very high quality stationary indeed! They have their school names and school logo on the pen.

 Hogwarts' school bag
This looks so cute right the design looks like a school bag ! How can you leave Harry Potter's land without buying some landmark thing?

 no...
It's actually a box of chocolate biscuits, taste good !

limited edition Harry Potter's file
This is actually a gift from our main organizer, Japan Travel Bureau ! They did requested Universal Studios Japan to make this file for us, you can't find any of this selling in Universal Studios Japan!

 Kyoto no Koibito 京都的恋人
They actually have three flavours, which is green tea matcha, strawberry and vanila. I've bought one green tea flavour. Uhmm, it's not really nice for me because... I don't like the taste of it as the green tea filling is a little bit weird for me. Anyway, you may have a try for this and I bought this at Little Osaka, Universal City Walk.

 my cup instant noodels masterpiece.

some little cute biscuits !
almost half of the biscuits were bought at Tsutenkako Tower, the cute little duck and the puppy were around 75 yen, not more than 100 yen!

GAP hoodie
This is the only shirt that I bought and I bought this at Rinku Premium Outlet. FYI, Rinku Premium Outlet really has a lot of things to shop, besides of branded products, there's also a small shopping mall in a walking distance nearby it, the things inside are cheap ! (not so much brandy stuffs inside) Normally, a simple GAP hoodie costs arounf RM230+ but this just cost me 4900yen, which is RM103! There were having 40% discount and there are so many choices.

 black thunder choco bar
Didn't put this snack in my buylist besides of kitkats but my friends asked me to buy and said it tastes heavenly hahaha so I just bought a whole big box which has 20 bars inside and it just costs me around RM23. And now, I've fnished it and I'm craving for it ! I couldn't find any of this in Malaysia!

kitkats !
Japan is famous of their different and unique flavours of kitkats ! This definately is a MUST BUY items when you're at Japan ! and also too bad that Osaka only have Green Tea flavour D:

The boss of all kitkats, Green Tea kitkats! I bought the packet green tea kitkat at the shopping mall nearby Rinku Premium Outlet , and there's a supermarket inside, one packet of green tea kitkat with 9 bars on it costs RM6 for one packet. SO CHEAP RIGHT ! Even at aeon, they sell it for RM16.90 for one packet wtf. Another one kitkat in box packaging is actually Kyoto matcha limited edition kitkat, I only bought one because it costs RM30+ for one box and I bought it at Little Osaka, Universal City Walk.

 Sakura Green Tea kitkat
This is actually airport limited packing which means only airport sell these type of packing and I never saw any places in Osaka sell this flavour (or maybe got?) It's RM40+ for one big box and it contains 10 little boxes like above and each box has three little packets inside. I shared the big box with my friend and each of us get 5 boxes each.

that's all of it of my Japan's post!

Wait for me , T-O-K-Y-O

 some stalls selling souvenirs

 we got attacked

We planned to buy some biscuits and feed the deer but when we were taking out money at the stall. all the deer came and standing by there for us it was so scary oh my god they keep approaching you and bite your shirt. At the end, we didn't buy lol too scary.

Then, we walked to our restaurant nearby.

 it's all about deer !

Next stop : Instant Noodles Museum

Japan is the FIRST country who invented cup noodles, this museum is all about the transformation of cup noodles. Besides, you can make you own instant cup noodle here !

Places to make your own cup noodle

(enlarge to see)

First, design your own cup of instant noodles

Next, choose your own flavors and ingredients
I don't really know what did I chose lol cause I can't understand Japanese ( cry face emoji) I just based on the look of the ingredients and especially the chicken/duck something idk what is that hahaha.

Third, use a machine to put the cover on your instant cup noodle

Moreover, use this machine to compress the plastic outside the cup

 Then, cut the extra plastic

Last but not least, make your own plastic container for your cup noodle

it looks like a bag and you can carry it on your shoulder

Cup noodles vending machine

all different types of cup noodles

public toilet facilities at the museum

trees outside the museum, is it some fruits on top of it?

Third stop : Abeno Life Safety Learning Center

Japan has a lot of natural disasters especially earthquake, to increase people's alertness, this Abeno Life Safety Learning Center is a place to teach you how to get rid of those disasters and increase the percentage for you to survive when these happens.

nice weather outside

Besides of earthquake, they also teach you what to dos and don'ts when fire burns, what to do when there's smokes, what to avoid when earthquake happens and etc.

what to avoid after earthquake happens

 fire extinguisher

Then, they let us to experience the most critical earthquake that Japan had so far, I've forgotten the level

Moreover, the person told us that Japan has calculate that, there's a biggest earthquake coming in 30 years time (idk starts to count from when) , that will be the most critical earthquake that Japan will have to face so they need to be well prepared.

Last but not least : Rinku Premium Outlet

Didn't took a lot of pictures of this place because we were too busy shopping lol. (I should have done !) This is a must come place when you're heading back because this place is near Kansai International Airport.

beautiful sunset

There's also a mall beside the Rinku Premium outlet and there's a supermarket inside and it sells a lot of Japanese snacks ! ( Green Tea kitkats !  )

Very last stop: Kansai International Airport. (going back)

The queue to check in baggage was so damn long my god, we queue for almost 2 hours there so we went to buy our dinner (cause we were too busy to shop just now)

 Japan's McDonald's !
So, I just realize I should order pork burger ugh I forgot. I ordered a McChicken set, the McChicken at Japan totally different compared to Malaysia. The sauce they used and the McChicken's meat are all different
